The Scoop

It is holiday time.  Here are some of the Halloween things I made.  Now that the temperature has dropped I am thinking Snowmen. I made my first one yesterday.  I am always interested in suggested themes to see what I can create in glass.  If you have any ideas or request feel free to drop me a line. 

I am now spending a time working with RAKU and a bit of Black Nebula.  I am very excited about these two glasses for different reasons.  The RAKU is now available in a 104 COE.  That would allow me to use as much of this striking glass as I please without concerns of cracking.  The Black Nebula is exciting because it is pulled in Highland. I enjoy the properties of the Italian and German glass I use, but the resources to get it here bother me just a bit.  I love the idea of glass made within 100 miles.  As soon as I figure out a good way to photograph this glass I'll post pictures.
